K-beauty private concierge · New York → Seoul

Seoul’s finest care,
Chosen for you.

Demand for Korean aesthetic care has exploded — and so has the choice. Hundreds of dermatology and plastic surgery clinics, endless before-and-afters, and no honest way to tell which one is right for you. We turn that chaos into one calm, personal shortlist.

How it works

The journey in four steps.

One

Tell us your concerns

Nine short questions — two minutes, no commitment.

Two

Meet the clinics, together

Three-way video consults, with your nurse beside you.

Three

Compare honest quotes

Itemized, side by side — with realistic recovery timelines.

Four

Travel, treated, looked after

Coordinated in Seoul, and a first call back in New York.

Services & treatment

Start with nine questions.

Our treatment finder turns your age, your concerns, and your days in Seoul into a brief we take to three or more vetted clinics for itemized, side-by-side quotes — and after you come home, a post-care concierge membership continues your care in New York.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

No — and that is the whole point. We are an independent personal advisor for you, not an agency for them. Paid by the client, never by the clinic.
We don’t accompany clients in person in Korea. Your consultations happen as three-way video calls — you, the clinic, and your concierge — before you travel.
It depends on how much of the journey you want us to carry. Everything is quoted in writing before you commit, and the consultation request itself is free.

An independent personal advisor for you — not for them.

Paid by the client. Never by the clinic.
We take no commissions and no referral fees from hospitals, so the only interest we serve is yours.

Why a concierge

Everyone wants Seoul. But the process is confusing.

Korea’s aesthetic care is drawing the world in — but Gangnam alone holds more dermatology and plastic surgery clinics than anyone can meaningfully compare. Endless options, conflicting advice, and prices that never explain themselves: it adds up to a headache. So we listened to the people who have already been, and built this service around what actually went wrong for them.

50%Of patients said
this was their
biggest problem

“Which clinic can I actually trust?”

Do not trust what the bloggers say because they received special treatments

— The single most common complaint, by far

How we answer it

Independent advice, paid for by you alone. Because no clinic pays us, nothing is quietly sponsored. We put three or more vetted clinics in front of you in one clear comparison — and tell you plainly why each made the list.

18%Couldn’t make
sense of the
prices

“Why is the same procedure two different prices?”

Two different doctors might quote you $4,000 vs $8,000 for the same nose job

— On quotes that arrive with no breakdown

How we answer it

Itemized quotes, side by side. We request quotes with every line spelled out — surgeon, anesthesia, aftercare visits, taxes — and line them up in one transparent table, so a difference in price becomes a difference you can actually judge.

14%Got a consultation
that lasted
minutes

“Five minutes, a language barrier, no real answers”

I met with him for 5 mins... All he said was I’ll make you beautiful

— On consultations that felt rushed and one-sided

How we answer it

A three-way video call — you, the clinic, and your concierge. Your questions are prepared in advance, your nurse advocates for you in the room, and nothing is left unconfirmed in English. A consultation should end when your questions do.

10%Were caught off
guard by the
recovery

“Nobody told me how recovery really goes”

I thought I was going to be one of those people who had the luxury of not swelling — boy, I was so wrong

— On swelling, downtime, and timelines

How we answer it

A realistic recovery timeline, before you fly. For your exact procedure: what the first days honestly look like, when you can fly, when you can be seen in public — planned into your itinerary in advance, not discovered the hard way.

8%Had no one to
ask once they
got home

“And then… silence”

No one checked on me at all after the surgery

— On being left alone after returning home

How we answer it

A point of contact in New York. When something feels off or you simply have a question, your concierge hears it first and relays it to your clinic — you are never left messaging into the void. Dedicated aftercare in New York is Coming soon.

Based on an analysis of 78 patient-community reviews; each review counted once, by its biggest complaint.

Close portrait of a woman with natural, luminous skin

Personalized, always

Built around your age, your skin, your concerns — never a one-size-fits-all package.

Seoul runs on volume, and volume loves a template: the same famous package, sold to every face that walks in. But a treatment that flatters a 25-year-old influencer’s skin is not automatically right for yours. Your concierge is a nurse who assesses you first — and only then goes looking for your clinic.

The factory way

One identical package for everyone, chosen from ads and sponsored posts — your age, skin type, and concerns optional.

Our way

Recommendations shaped by your age, your skin and ethnic background, and the concerns you actually named — with resources gathered for your case, not a brochure.

Beauty, at every age

Not chasing twenty. Becoming the most beautiful you — at forty, fifty, sixty, seventy.

Beauty is not about chasing your younger self in your twenties. You can still pursue the most beautiful version of yourself in your 40s, 50s, 60s — and even your 70s. The standard of beauty changes as you age; the treatment should change with it. Not a cookie cutter — a fine, tailored job.

An elegant woman in her fifties in a silk blouse, hair swept back, skin luminous in warm light
In her fifties — polished, never overdone
A graceful Korean woman in her sixties with silver hair in a soft updo and calm, luminous skin
In her sixties — silver, luminous, entirely herself

For the busy mother

Your day starts when the house goes quiet.

Everyone fed, everyone asleep — and only then, a few minutes that belong to you. If that is the only time you have, it is enough. Your research, your clinic comparisons, your consultations are arranged around your hours, so the little time you get is spent deciding — not searching.

For the woman looking back

Wondering where the decades went?

Somewhere between raising a family and building a life, the mirror changed. The answer is not to rewind it. It is to meet this decade well — with care chosen for the skin, the face, and the woman you are now.

“Not a cookie cutter. A fine, tailored job.”

Gina Yu Founder · Registered Nurse

My K-Beauty Journey was founded by Gina Yu, a registered nurse who cares for critically ill patients in a New York ICU and performs aesthetic treatments in Manhattan. She has sat where your Korean doctors sit, and she has sat where you sit — a patient in a foreign system, hoping someone would explain. This service is the explanation, the comparison, and the advocate, in one person.

1000+ aesthetic procedures performed personally at a Manhattan dermatology practice.

Her path to this work was anything but a straight line. She graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in business administration, then earned a master’s degree in engineering from Stanford University in 2009. From there, she spent nearly a decade at LG Display, a Korean Electronics company, working as a manager on the new technology strategy and new business strategy teams — years that taught her how to read an industry, judge what comes next, and build something new with rigor.

Then she changed direction entirely. Retraining as a nurse, she went on to care for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit at NewYork Presbyterian - Columbia Irving Medical Center — work at the bedside of the sickest patients, where precision and calm matter most. Today, she brings that same clinical grounding to aesthetic medicine, performing procedures personally at a dermatology practice in Manhattan, where every treatment begins with a nurse’s eye for safety and a strategist’s eye for what will truly serve the patient.

My story

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Chasing beauty felt like a forever & never-ending journey. There are so many beauty treatment options in Korea due to cultural pressure and high beauty standard, evolved along with clinics equipped with high technology equipment and state of the art products — from skin treatment, small procedures, plastic surgeries, etc.

Now Korea is seeing a rapid uptick in foreigner’s medical tour demand, but finding the right clinic, not to mention finding the right treatment for each client has been very challenging, according to the 1st wave generation who has experienced medical tour in Korea.

I came up with an idea of providing the tailored beauty treatment for these people that with my professional experience of business strategy and performing aesthetic procedures. I’d like to help you to find the right treatment, just for you, and keep track of you, not just provide one time tx and feel abandoned. Tell me about yourself, what your goal, priorities, what’s happening in your life, so that we can work around you and provide the very best treatment for you.
